I love my wife. I love our daughter. I love my job. I love the fact that modern technology makes it possible for me to publish my internal monologue in real time. I love conversing with people. Pushing them. Getting pushed back. I love taking time to dig into the complexities of the difficult questions and realizing that the answers are multi-faceted.
I lament injustice. I lament division. I lament hate. I lament that the solutions to the problems that our societies face require a certain level of abandon and discipline that most are unwilling to enter into. I lament the state of racial and ethnic relations in our world. I lament that gender inequality. I lament brokenness.
I celebrate a God of wholeness and restoration.
I attempt to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with my God.
