don’t know if you’ve seen this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1IGfv8zSgw, but dee-1 is spot on with his assessment of hova. you touched on it in your last paragraph, but that dude won’t take a stand on much of anything when he’s pressed. i love his jams for sure, but can’t stand the lack of cajones when it comes to writing lyrics with substance past a wee peppering of his upbringing.
